Research, consulting, professional development and the showcase: the four things every VITAL member takes part in.
Four student research teams each take on one open question in healthcare and life sciences, in artificial intelligence, biomarkers and diagnostics, cancer and oncology, and medical devices. Teams review the literature, analyze data and build toward a final presentation of their work.
Research projectsTeams of five consultants led by a project manager take on semester-long strategy and technical projects for healthcare and life sciences companies. Work ranges from go-to-market strategy and market entry to AI engineering and software.
How consulting worksThrough the mentorship program, upperclassmen lead pods of three to four underclassmen, helping with coursework, recruiting and finding a path in healthcare. Workshops cover public speaking, consulting frameworks, analytics and leadership.
Join VITALAt the end of each project term, research and consulting teams give TED Talk style presentations of their work. Partner companies are welcome to attend, and to judge.
